RC Track Racing

Guidelines

• •Event Format
• •Race Distance: 100 m.
• •Circuits: 2 circuits (One Straight - One with Obstacles and Slope).
• •Teams: Approx. 50 teams - max 5 members per team.
• •Rounds (4 total):
• •1. Design Presentation: Judged on low cost - ergonomic design and aesthetics.
• •2. Safety Round: Vehicle must have no sharp objects and avoid explosion risks.
• •3. Straight Circuit: Fastest RC car wins.
• •4. Obstacle & Slope Round: Fastest time to clear the track wins; with points for crowd appeal.
• •Racing: Only 2 cars are allowed to race at a time.
• •Vehicle Specifications
• •Max Weight: 10 kg; Motor: Brushed or BLDC motor (max 4500kv); Drivetrain: 2WD or 4WD; Battery: Li-ion / Li-Po / NiMH (Max voltage: 14.8V / 4S Li-Po); Chassis: Any material; open or closed cabin design allowed.
• •Rules
• •Only one controller is allowed per vehicle.
• •Swapping batteries or entering the circuit mid-race is forbidden.
• •Rollover Rule: No manual recovery unless blocking another vehicle; A rolled-over vehicle is eliminated; If both cars roll over or one breaks down; both are eliminated.
• •Safety Gear: All drivers and assistants must wear heavy-duty shoes - jeans - eye goggles and their ID cards.
• •Tools: Teams must bring their own tools.
